This blog is the result of a recent trip. While avoiding a traffic jam on the interstate, we drove on some back roads in western Pennsylvania, the scenery was vastly different compared to what we could see from I-90. We talked about all the neat places you never see from the highway. We also noted that within a short distance from home there were many intriguing things few have heard of, much less seen. We will try to showcase some of these exceptional places and any interesting stops we make on other trips we take.
